Inner Calling
My Story + Mission
The heart of inner calling
I believe that healing is an inward journey—one that begins with listening. Beneath the noise of daily life, beneath the stories we tell ourselves, there is a quiet voice within each of us. A voice of truth, strength, and love. My work is to help you reconnect with that voice.
Through a blend of deep reflection, evidence-based practices like mindfulness and clinical psychology (CBT, DBT), and insights from spiritual traditions, I help create a space where you can tune into your inner calling for transformation. Each episode offers something different—some weeks invite quiet introspection, others provide gentle support, and sometimes, we learn through meaningful conversations with guests.
Healing happens when we turn toward ourselves with compassion, embracing both our light and our struggles. My hope is to guide you toward clarity, peace, and purpose. To remind you that you are not alone. That everything you need is already within you. I’m simply here to help you listen.
“Even in suffering, there is the possibility of meaning. Even in the depths of struggle, there is still light waiting to be found.”

From darkness to light:
My story, our journey
I am a Johns Hopkins-trained, board-certified clinical psychologist with expertise in evidence-based treatment for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, stress, and substance use. I have had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults, helping them navigate struggles with self-worth, identity, relationships, and the search for meaning. Many people come to me when they feel lost—unsure of how to move forward, questioning who they are, or searching for a deeper sense of purpose. My deepest passion is guiding others through these difficult moments, offering a space where healing and growth can unfold.
This passion is deeply personal. My own family was profoundly affected by bipolar disorder, an illness that touched multiple members of my family. I know firsthand the devastation that depression, mood disorders, stress, and anxiety can bring. I also live with bipolar disorder myself and have survived both the crushing lows and the overwhelming highs that can make life feel unbearable. I know what it’s like to feel lost. I also know the power of finding your way back. I know how much of a difference the right support can make, how vital it is to have someone by your side when everything feels impossible.
I created Inner Calling because I never want anyone to feel alone in their pain. I know what it’s like to come from difficult circumstances, to feel like you must transcend where you came from—or even who you thought you were—to find your own way. That journey can be painful and lonely. But you don’t have to walk it alone. Just as people in my life showed up for me, I want to show up for you.
Given how stigmatized mental health can be in our society, I believe in openly sharing my story. These experiences don’t just shape who I am—they inform the way I practice, the way I connect, and the way I hold space for others. They are what inspired me to create Inner Calling—a space where you can find support, reflection, and hope. Even in suffering, there is the possibility of meaning. Even in the depths of struggle, there is still light waiting to be found.
Healing happens when we turn toward ourselves with compassion, embracing both our light and our struggles.
Thank you for being here. It means more than you know. Wherever you are on your journey, I hope Inner Calling can be a place of reflection, support, and hope for you. You are not alone.
Wherever you are on your journey, may peace, love, and joy find you there.
